Album Advertisement
Beck - Midnite Vultures
We were assigned to pick an artist/musical group and design an advertisement to be placed in a magazine. The goal was to catch the reader's attention and interest.
I chose my favorite artist, Beck, and his latest album at the time, Midnite Vultures. I designed the typeface and wanted it, and the entire layout, to have that retro-futuristic vibe found in most of Beck's work, especially Midnite Vultures.
The high contrast in colors would hopefully grab anyone's attention as they skim through a magazine. |
